Book Donations
All library locations accept donations of gently used books and other items from the public. For a list of items we will accept, please click here.

Host a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser

Share your passion for youth literacy by creating a birthday fundraiser on Facebook. Every $5 raised helps the Friends provide a new book to a child or teen who completes the library's Summer Reading Game. 


You decide when to host the fundraiser, how long and how much you want to raise to benefit the Friends.  Step by step instructions available here.

Monetary Donations / Friends Memberships


The Friends of MCDL book sales and other fundraisers help support library programming. You are welcome to make a donation to help the Friends with the Summer Reading Game and other library programs and events.  To register for a Friends event, join the Friends, renew your Friends membership or make a donation online  is a TWO-STEP process.  
STEP ONE:  Fill out the form below and click on the "Submit" button. 

STEP TWO:  Click on the "Donate" button which takes you through the Friends PayPal account where you may make a secure payment with your own PayPal account OR credit card / debit card.

You may also make a donation to the Friends of MCDL any time by visiting your local library Customer Service desk, during any Friends Book Sale or by mailing a check to Friends of MCDL, 201 South Broadway Street, Medina, OH 44256.
